BreathLab · Coherence Engine

Breathe with precision. Enter coherence.

BreathLab is an interactive breathwork experience that synchronizes the nervous system, regulates stress patterns and prepares the body for deeper energetic alignment. Real-time animated guidance, intelligent timing and a deep library of scientifically grounded protocols turn every inhale and exhale into a measurable state of coherence.

Why breath matters

Breath is the one autonomic system you can consciously control.

Most people breathe unconsciously, rapidly and irregularly. That single fact silently drives chronic stress, poor sleep, low HRV and a noisy nervous system. BreathLab retrains the body into rhythmic coherence using guided visual pacing and structured breath architectures - so the same biology that quietly works against you starts working for you.

The science

What actually happens to your nervous system during controlled breathing.

Controlled, paced breathing is one of the most-studied tools in physiology. The mechanism is not mystical - it's a direct, measurable shift from sympathetic (fight-or-flight) into parasympathetic (rest-and-digest) dominance, mediated mostly by the vagus nerve.

Vagus nerve activation
Slow nasal exhales longer than the inhale stimulate the vagus nerve, which signals the heart and gut to downshift. Within 90 seconds, heart rate drops and digestion resumes.
Heart-rate variability (HRV)
Breathing at ~6 breaths per minute (Coherent 5:5) creates resonance between breath, heart rhythm and blood pressure waves. HRV rises measurably, a direct marker of nervous-system flexibility.
CO₂ tolerance and oxygen delivery
Controlled breath holds gently raise CO₂, which increases the Bohr effect: hemoglobin releases more oxygen to your tissues. Your cells get more O₂, not less.
Prefrontal cortex re-engagement
When the amygdala is firing, the thinking brain goes offline. Coherent breathing reduces amygdala activity and reactivates the prefrontal cortex, restoring clear decision-making.
Brainwave shift
Slow paced breathing reliably moves EEG patterns from high-beta (stress) into alpha and theta - the same bands associated with meditation, creativity and learning.
Cortisol & sympathetic load
Studies on slow breathing (Zaccaro et al., 2018) show measurable drops in cortisol, blood pressure and perceived stress within a single session.

What BreathLab does

A live visual coach for every inhale, hold and exhale.

Real-time lung visualization

Watch the lungs fill and release like liquid energy. The animation mirrors your breath cycle so your body learns rhythm by sight, not by counting.

Guided breathing pathways

A glowing motion guide travels the breath geometry so inhale, hold and exhale stay effortless - no app to stare at, just a path to follow.

Intelligent timing engine

Inhale, hold, exhale and second-hold are sequenced for nervous-system downshifting, parasympathetic activation and breath entrainment - automatically.

Preset protocols

The patterns that move the needle - one tap away.

Choose the protocol that matches your state and your goal. Every preset is timed, animated and ready to start.

Grounding before PEMF

BreathLab prepares the system. PEMF delivers the field.

Your nervous system, heart, brain, fascia and cellular membranes all communicate electrically. Entering a PEMF session while dysregulated is like trying to tune a radio through heavy static. Grounding reduces the internal noise so the signal can land.

As the breath slows and synchronizes, the body shifts from sympathetic activation into parasympathetic dominance - the state associated with recovery, restoration and internal balance. From there, frequency-based work meets a coherent body instead of a reactive one.

Nervous-system stabilization
Sympathetic load drops, baseline tone returns.
Reduced stress response
Cortisol and reactivity ease within minutes.
Heart-brain coherence
Breath, heart and brainwaves entrain together.
Smoother frequency sessions
PEMF lands on a calm, receptive body.
